Cookie notice

This page explains how the Kwilo public site and app may use cookies and similar technologies, what is genuinely necessary, and what should stay off unless someone clearly agrees to it.

Last reviewed 14 April 2026

The public site is meant to stay light. The aim is to avoid non-essential tracking unless there is a clear reason for it and proper consent has been given. The signed-in app may use extra storage or session technology where it is genuinely needed for sign-in, security or core product use.

Current cookie approach

CategoryPurposeDefault position
Strictly necessarySecurity, session handling, sign-in support and core site or app operation.May be used where genuinely needed for the service the user asked for.
PreferencesRemembering user interface choices or settings.Only where useful and reasonable.
AnalyticsUnderstanding site usage and improving performance.Should stay off unless a proper consent setup is in place.
Advertising or cross-site trackingMarketing attribution or behavioural targeting. Not part of the intended public site setup.

Public site vs app

  • The public site at hellokwilo.com should only use what is genuinely necessary unless consented analytics or similar tools are added later.
  • The signed-in product at app.hellokwilo.com may use strictly necessary cookies or similar storage for sign-in, security, session handling and product use.

Consent

Non-essential cookies should not be set before valid consent is given. If analytics or similar technology is added later, people should be told clearly what it does, what data it uses and how to switch it off again.

How to manage cookies

  • Use any cookie controls or consent banner provided on the site.
  • Adjust browser settings if you want to block or delete cookies.
  • Be aware that blocking strictly necessary cookies or storage may stop sign-in or core product functions from working properly.

Future changes

If our cookie use changes, this notice should be updated before any new non-essential use begins. That includes things like analytics, embedded third-party content, advertising technology or new storage methods on people's devices.
